Vanguard High School is a school designed to teach kids with learning difficulties. There is an English and French sector.  Vanguard Elementary school was founded in 1973. The French sector of the high school was founded in 1987. The English sector of the high school was founded in the mid-80s. The English sector became a real school in 1992 when it merged in with the French sector. In 2013 all 3 of the Vanguard schools all moved onto one site, to where it is now. The school is located at 5935 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse in Saint-Laurent, Montreal
