CRC

CRC® is a robotics competition in Laval, Quebec. CRC® was founded in 2001 by a bunch of robotics teachers. They decided to create a competition because they were not impressed by the other competitions made for CEGEP's in Canada. Since 2021 CRC® founded a junior competition for elementary schools in Quebec. CRC is now a non-profit organization. CRC® believes that Bilingualism, Multidisciplinary, Teamwork and Equity is a big part of robotics. Our team appreciates how affordable CRC® is to participate in. CRC® is student oriented meaning that our mentors don't help us out. Our team does everything from designing the robot to building and coding the robot. CRC® is much more than just robots. There is Building, Programing, Kiosks, Websites, Videos, and Tutorials.

KRYPTIK 2024

This years theme for CRC® is Kryptik. This year the game pieces are small dodge balls. The goal is to shoot the dodge ball to the other side of the field, shooting into different sized targets resulting in receiving different amounts of points for each targets. there will also be a point multiplier, getting a dodge ball onto a post. You are basically playing a big game of hot potato with dodge balls, as our mechanics said.  You will have 5 minutes to make sure that you have the least amount of balls on your side.
